Stress Relief Strategies

Stress Relief Strategies

Our Stress Relief Strategies download walks you through the basic story of how a simple belly breath can reset your autonomic nervous system, and help body, brain, breath and behavior find their ease.

You will also look at the two main components of the nervous system that handle your survival programs: the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and the HPA axis, which makes a wide range of hormones. Our health depends on our internal ability to restore juicy flow and function once danger has passed. When we are under prolonged stress, these protective systems lose their agility and internal dysfunction follows.  The good news is that when we choose to breathe, we re-set the stress cycle so our hormones can function properly, we can grow new brain cells and our radar can protect us better.

Learn how to * Breathe It * Feel It * Name It * and restore your peaceful nervous system.

New Breathing

This meditation guides you to your internal, interoceptive landing place. As you learn this within, for yourself, you can then explore the pivot – creating your connections from that attentive landing. You can connect from your internal awareness to intentional, affective touch and presence, and there the magic begins!

Get Your Gut Going

The basic survival functions, breath, heartbeat and belly (gut) are compromised by cognitive and emotional stresses. Improving digestive function comes from meeting the needs of this important body<>brain connection with simple self-care techniques.
